Complete Rhythm Trainer is a rhythm-training application that teaches musicians to read, recognize, tap, and write rhythms, progressing from the simplest patterns to advanced material. It is structured like a video game with a strong pedagogical progression to keep practice engaging. The app contains 252 progressive drills organized across 4 levels and 30 chapters, covering simple, compound, and asymmetric time signatures and durations ranging from half and quarter notes to thirty-second notes, triplets, swing eighths, double-dotted notes, and quintuplets. It offers five drill types: rhythm imitation, rhythm reading, rhythm dictation, two-voice reading, and two-voice dictation, with most drills randomly generated for unlimited repetition. Additional features include a dedicated polyrhythm section, an arcade mode with global leaderboards, custom user-created drills, custom training programs for teachers and students with private leaderboards, 23 recorded instrument sound banks, achievements and a star-based scoring system, and four sheet-music display styles (modern, classic, handwritten, and jazz). It is aimed at students, hobbyists, teachers, and schools.
