About
TonalEnergy Tuner & Metronome is a multi-tool music practice application combining a tuner, metronome, tone generator, sound analysis, and recording in a single interface. It is intended as an all-in-one practice companion for musicians across instrument families and skill levels. Its Target Tuner recognizes a wide pitch range (C0–C8) and provides visual feedback, with selectable temperaments (equal, just, custom), adjustable concert-A reference, transposition, and wind/string/voice modes; a dedicated string-tuner page adds a horizontal bar tuner and per-string layouts. The tone generator offers reference sounds (winds, strings, guitar, organ, and waveforms) plus a keyboard and chromatic wheel. The metronome includes many sounds, customizable click tracks with meter and tempo changes, accelerandos/ritardandos, drones, and beat-silencing practice tools. Analysis tools display waveform/pitch, spectral harmonic content, and note shapes, and an audio/video recording suite supports trimming, playback, tempo/pitch adjustment, and exporting. It also offers practice-tracking with goals and streaks, MIDI control, Ableton Link, and Apple Watch support. It suits students, educators, and professional players, including singers, brass, woodwinds, percussion, and strings. Available on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS, with a separate education licensing option for schools. It is a one-time paid app; some advanced functions are currently iOS-only.
