Tenuto is a music theory training app developed by musictheory.net for iPhone and iPad. It packages the site's interactive exercises and reference calculators into a touch-based interface, letting users drill core theory concepts and compute musical structures offline without an internet connection. The app includes a collection of exercises (around two dozen) covering areas such as note identification, key signatures, note and interval construction, chord and scale recognition, as well as keyboard and fretboard identification and ear-training exercises. Each exercise can be customized to focus on specific problem areas, such as particular clefs, ledger lines, or double accidentals.
